The fundamental role of an auditor is to report to the shareholders as to whether the company's annual accounts show a true and fair view of the company's financial activity. As well as to ensure that the accounts are presented in conformity with the prevailing legal and regulatory requirements. An auditor at KPMG, you will be doing much more than just looking at the company's financial records. You'll be finding out as much as you can about the whole company, the way it works, its products or services, its technology, its competitors and the industry in which it operates. As an audit-trainee you'll be working within an audit team, where you'll assist in the audit of the annual account of several clients. This includes amongst other things: Updating the audit plan and the risk-analysis. Following-up the confirmation procedure. Verifying different sections of the cash balances and financial statements by using audit tools. Monitoring the administrative organization and the internal control.
