Roles & Responsibilities

As a Junior Consultant within Digital Strategy you will be part of a team that is responsible to support clients in their digital and technology-led transformation projects. For KPMG these transformations are end-to-end involving everything from the business/technology strategy up to and including the actual implementation of the chosen IT components.

Your main focus will be: 

  • Guide customers in the determination of their IT strategy and IT   target operating model and the actual roll-out of this strategy within the organisation:
    - Shaping vision on Digital & IT Strategy & Transformation       (evaluating as-is, identifying gaps, shaping plans, guiding       transformation journey);
    - Evaluating & designing Digital & IT TOM (processes,       people, service delivery model, governance);
    - Creating roadmaps for transformation journey.
  • Help organizations integrate AI into their IT departments and broader business operations, ensuring proper governance, alignment with business goals, and effective management across the organization.
  • Support customers in optimizing their IT costs by identifying inefficiencies, improving processes, and designing cost-effective IT solutions that deliver sustainable results.
  • In context of M&A transactions, conduct assessments and provide advice on Technology/IT aspects in due diligences.
  • Advising on technology aspects of integration, separation (carve outs) and optimization initiatives.
  • Help define the infrastructure and application architecture (blueprint) for the transformation of the IT systems of the customer (move to cloud, new ERP system ...).
  • Assist in setting up the (Agile) portfolio, program and project management structures to support the management and control of large end-to-end technology led transformations.

Skills & Qualifications

  • You hold a Master’s degree preferably in Business Engineering, Information Management, or related fields combining business strategy and IT;
  • You have the ability to work independently, as well as in project teams and take ownership and responsibility;
  • You are fluent in English and in Dutch or French;
  • Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, and TOGAF is considered an advantage;
  • Project management tracks (Scrum Master, SAFe, Prince2, PMP) is considered an advantage.
