KPMG Belgium is a market leader in business consulting providing Advisory, Audit, Tax, Legal, and Accountancy services. KPMG Belgium is part of the global KPMG network serving large and mid-sized corporations in Belgium.

The in-house legal team of KPMG Belgium provides tailormade assistance and advice to all stakeholders of the Belgian KPMG network on a variety of legal business matters. It is expanding and is looking for a business oriented and proactive legal counsel to join as a Legal Advisor. The jobholder will report to the Senior Legal Counsel.

Roles and responsibilities:

As an in-house Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing and keeping the in- house legal team up to date with all relevant legal requirements applicable to KPMG Belgium and translating these into applicable guidelines and policies for KPMG’s business on a broad range of matters.

Further, you will draft, review and negotiate various types of B2B agreements, in close collaboration with the Procurement Department. You will also work closely with other KPMG stakeholders taking into account the applicable legal requirements and the business needs of KPMG.

You will also contribute together with the other in- house Legal team members to the development and the update of legal (contract) templates.

• You have a Belgian Master’s degree in law

• You have 3 to 5 years relevant professional experience, preferably in a Belgian law firm or an in - house legal department.

• Eager to learn and  interested  in different (complex)  legal matters

• You have strong analytical and writing skills

• You are fluent in Dutch and English and have a good level in French
