Roles & Responsibilities

As a Functional Advisor in Dynamics 365 Finance, you design, implement, and test Dynamics 365 Finance solutions. You support (inter)national clients in transforming their finance organizations by leveraging standard Dynamics 365 capabilities, working closely with business consultants, solution architects, and technical teams. Through strong collaboration, communication, and market awareness, you contribute to successful projects and the continued growth of Enterprise Solutions.


What will you do:

  • Guide clients through the transformation of their finance function by organizing and facilitating workshops.
  • Execute FIT/GAP workshops and design to‑be processes aligned with the APQC process model and Dynamics 365 Finance capabilities.
  • Create functional designs and clearly translate gaps into requirements for the technical team.
  • Configure the Dynamics 365 Finance solution.
  • Define test scenarios and perform functional testing.
  • Support integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Create training materials and deliver training to users.
    Support financial data migration rehearsals and go‑live activities.
  • Act as a change agent, supporting the change management aspects of business transformations.
  • Contribute to quality assurance activities such as peer reviews, risk assessments, and issue evaluations.
  • Continuously build knowledge of the latest Dynamics 365 Finance features and actively share this expertise within the team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • You hold a Master’s degree, preferably in economics, informatics, or engineering.
  • You have a solid understanding of accounting and/or controlling.
  • You bring a minimum of three years of hands‑on experience and have been involved in multiple Dynamics 365 implementation or advisory projects as a finance process or functional consultant.
  • You have strong knowledge of the core Finance modules in Dynamics 365, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Credit and Collections.
  • You are comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively in project teams, taking ownership and responsibility in a reliable and proactive way.
  • You continue to develop your coaching skills by working closely with colleagues and sharing knowledge within the team.
  • You are fluent in English and in Dutch or French.
  • You are a certified Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB‑310), or you are motivated to obtain this certification in the near future.
  • Certification in PRINCE2, PMP, or another project management methodology is considered an asset.
  • You confidently engage with AI‑related topics, clearly communicate complex concepts to stakeholders, make ethically sound decisions, and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Knowledge of Project Operations, Budgeting in Dynamics 365 Finance, and RCS Globalization Features is considered an advantage.
