Organizations in the public sector are constantly faced with new challenges and often must deal with disruptive changes. In addition, their 'customers' also expect faster, more efficient, and better services.

The KPMG Public Sector team offers a wide range of services to organizations at various levels of government in Belgium. They work on socially relevant projects daily, making an impact on citizens, civil servants and society. We are looking to strengthen the public sector team with a Project Manager who will focus on the study and evaluation of public policies.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Project Manager

  • You are responsible for defining, building and managing a project roadmap.
  • You set up action that make the project correspond to the established goals.
  • You conduct studies, evaluations of public policies and performance contracts to provide insights and recommendations.
  • You assist our clients in developing strategic plans.
    You are managing more junior team members to ensure a qualitive roll out.
  • You consult on regular basis with all stakeholders and give presentations if needed.
  • You will help grow the public sector team trough coaching team members and clients by sharing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Knowledge of the sales process (e.g. Write proposals for PS, technical and admin aspects, …).

Skills & Qualifications

  • You hold a Master's degree and have at least 4 years of experience in either strategic and/or management consulting with a focus on Belgian public sector.
  • Ideally, you have thorough experience in:

           - Strategy definition & development;
           - Project management of studies and/or evaluations of public policies and/or performance contracts;
           - Techniques of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis;
           - Facilitation of meetings / working groups;
           - Belgian public sector, European regional funds.

  • You have fluent communication and facilitation skills in French and English, Dutch is a plus.
