Software Asset Management comes with different challenges, such as ensuring compliance with the different software vendors, optimizing investments, reduce risks of unplanned costs.

Our goal is to help organizations overcome these challenges and work with them in defining a roadmap and clear governance when it comes to Software Asset Management.

Roles & Responsibilities

Our Compliance team works across different areas:

• Software Asset Management
• Software end-user license reviews
• Royalty reviews
• Supplier reviews

Your role is highly varied and involves working in a supportive, young, and dynamic team. The range of clients, and the projects you will work on offer continuous challenges and a constantly shifting workload. You will also be in regular contact with clients and third parties to collect the necessary information as well as to provide them with valuable advice.

In your role you will be able to:

• Provide high quality professional day-to-day execution and oversight of various Software Asset Management (SAM) engagements including SAM current state assessments, software license optimization reviews, and SAM tool implementations/integrations;
• Examine complex software license agreements and deployments to obtain license positions for various software vendors and to provide license optimization advice to our clients;
• Perform risk assessments of contract documentation;
• Understand and help to identeify opportunities for KPMG´s practices and service offerings.

You will help our teams and clients to succeed if you have the following qualifications, expertise and skills:

• You hold a master’s degree (or equivalent by experience) and have acquired 4+ years of relevant working experience, by preference in large IT organizations;

• Prior working knowledge of the licensing of preferably one or two of the following major software license providers including IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and VMWare;

• Experience with market-leading SAM tools including one of the following providers: Flexera, ServiceNow, or Snow is a plus;

• You have a broad interest in business processes, and you like a project-based working environment;

• You are client-focused and a real team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills;

• You are fluent in English and an advanced level in Dutch or French is a plus.
