Tax AI and Technology Manager
Tax and Legal - Tax Adviser
Tax leaders are navigating unprecedented complexity: shifting regulations, heightening compliance demands, international challenges, and the constant pressure to deliver more with fewer resources. The difference between a tax function that merely keeps pace and one that proactively shapes the organization’s future lies in its ability to harness the right technology.
The KPMG Tax, Legal and Accountancy (TLA) Technology team helps both local and multinational organizations reimagine the role of tax. By leveraging cutting-edge data and AI capabilities, we enable tax departments to move beyond compliance and reporting, transforming them from cost centers into strategic assets that drive value across the enterprise.
We deliver innovative technology solutions and enablement journeys for both our clients and internal teams. As a Manager AI and Technology, you will lead these projects end-to-end, supported by a talented team. You will gain hands-on experience with our solutions and develop deep, process-specific expertise in tax through your involvement in these projects.
Your role will also involve driving go-to-market initiatives, such as presenting at seminars, showcasing solution demonstrations, and developing key assets to support our business development efforts. We are looking for professionals who combine strong technical and process expertise with the ability to clearly communicate and showcase the value of our solutions. This role is ideal for those who want to be directly involved in both the creation and the presentation of our offerings, not just marketing them.
On a daily basis, you’ll work together with different departments, depending on the needs and your expertise. Typical Tax Technology Projects Include (but are not limited to):
• Guiding and supporting the implementation of our KPMG Digital Gateway (+ GenAI) platform from A-Z;
• Requirements gathering + functional analysis of solutions for specific client problems, e.g. Transfer Pricing projects relating to Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Pillar II;
• Collaboration (e.g. with other European teams) to implement tax solutions for clients;
• Implementation of specific use cases within our AI-driven platforms and automation tools;
• Process improvement workshops and trainings, for clients and KPMG professionals
• Implementation of tax control frameworks or cafeteria plans;
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) VAT health checks;
• Customization and development of tax return software;
• Creation of data analytics dashboarding solutions;
• Support of go-to-market activities such as client demos, preparation of dashboards,...
