Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' data privacy and protection strategies, both in the public and private sectors.
  • Evaluate clients' data governance processes, risk management, controls, and compliance against best practices and regulatory requirements using OneTrust.
  • Engage with client leadership to craft data privacy strategies, ensuring alignment with evolving regulations and business needs.
  • Implement sustainable solutions through OneTrust, focusing on data mapping, risk assessment, and compliance management.
  • Collaborate closely with client executives and technical teams to drive strategic changes in data protection, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Highlight potential data privacy risks, providing recommendations for mitigation, and communicate effectively with client stakeholders.
  • Assist clients in the creation and refinement of data protection policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Evaluate and enhance incident response strategies related to data breaches, leveraging OneTrust for optimal results.

Skills & Qualifications

At least two years of experience in implementing and using the various OneTrust modules.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in computer science, business management. Experience in data privacy regulations such as GDPR preferred.
  • Understanding of control frameworks, standards, in GRC and privacy.
  • Prior experience in drafting, revising, and implementing policies, procedures, and controls.
  • OneTrust certifications such as but not limited to OneTrust Privacy Professional, Data Mapping Automation, PIA/DPIA Automation, GRC Professional, Third Party Risk Management.
  • Relevant data privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) is a plus.
  • Good written and verbal communication, teamwork, and presentation abilities.
