Roles & Responsibilities

As a Manager, your responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Performing financial due diligence procedures relating to the sale and purchase of companies and businesses. Identifying issues that may be of relevance and for assessing the impact thereof on the transaction;
  • You identify and understand the key business drivers and provide value to the client through our services and the deliverables we produce;
  • You operate as the main point of contact for clients in this process and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of engagements;
  • You will participate in the preparation of deliverables including reports, presentations and discussions with the client;
  • You will be managing workflow and activities of staff, providing guidance and sharing insights, and will be coordinating and interacting with other KPMG teams e.g. M&A Tax and Legal;
  • Providing coaching to others, share your technical and other knowledge with your team and the department and draw upon previous experience;
  • You will build your own business network and seek to establish long-lasting relationships with clients by providing advice as a trusted adviser, using your expertise, skills and experience to their advantage.

Skills & Qualifications

  • You have a Masters degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial due diligence, corporate analysis, financial audit and transactions;
  • Ideally CFA charter holder, or enrolled in CFA;
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions;
  • You have excellent project management and business development skills;
  • Ability to perform consistently at a high level and under pressure;
  • You have a strong power of observation;
  • You’re hands on and pragmatic in finding the solutions for clients;
  • You can focus on delivering high quality work whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail;
  • You have excellent bilingual speaking and writing skills (English and Dutch/English and French).
