Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' data privacy and protection strategies in both public and private sectors.
  • Assess clients' data governance processes, risk management, controls, and compliance against best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with client leadership to develop data privacy strategies that are in line with changing regulations and business requirements.
  • Implement and support sustainable data privacy solutions, focusing on data mapping, risk assessment, and compliance management.
  • Collaborate closely with client executives and technical teams to lead strategic shifts in data protection, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify potential data privacy risks, offer mitigation solutions, and effectively communicate with client stakeholders.
  • Help clients develop and refine data protection policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Evaluate and improve incident response strategies for data breaches.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience in data privacy and protection.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in law, computer science or business management. Experience in data privacy regulations such as GDPR is preferred.
  • Knowledge of control frameworks and standards in GRC (Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance) and privacy.
  • Previous experience in drafting, revising, and implementing policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Relevant data privacy certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT) are advantageous.
  • Knowledge of privacy tools (e.g., OneTrust) is advantageous.
  • Language requirements: English and Dutch or French mandatory.
