Roles & Responsibilities
Actuarial services - Preparing the life insurance sector for the future.
Insurers are looking closely at ways in which they can transform their business and operating models to remain competitive but compliant in a changing regulatory landscape.
The KPMG Actuarial Services team has been steadily growing. and consists of three domains: Life Insurance, Non-life Insurance and Employee Benefits.
You will be involved in / responsible for a wide variety of projects in the Life and Health insurance sector.
These assignments are varied and include IFRS 17, Solvency II (Pillar 1-2-3), financial reporting, pricing, actuarial function, valuation of insurance companies and portfolio’s, ALM, new product development, modeling of propensity to buy/churn, fraud detection, risk management and strategic consulting.
Because of our customized services, the projects are often in collaboration with our insurance experts from other disciplines such as Business Services, Deal Advisory, Tax, Technology advisory.
You will be given the opportunity to work with not only local Belgian colleagues but also with KPMG experts from our global network.
As an Actuary, you will make use of our wide range of tools, for which you can take initiatives to further develop them.
In addition, you will contribute to the further expansion of our actuarial services, and to consolidation of our strong position in the insurance industry.

Skills & Qualifications
In addition to a Master in Actuarial Sciences (or similar) you have at least 10 years of relevant experience in the Life insurance industry.
Quality in work and in professional relationships is very important to you, as well as excellent communication.
As a team player you are flexible and you are motivated to work on diverse projects.
You have excellent technical skills and express yourself fluently in Dutch, French and English.
