Roles & Responsibilities

Our digital assurance team assists clients in effectively dealing with a range of issues, from diagnostic reviews to reporting, and enable them to showcase their excellence.

As an intern at KPMG in Digital Risk Management - DA, you’ll be involved and gain experience in SOC1 report for our largest attestation client. As an intern, you will:

  • Participate in Mandatory Trainings.
  • Understand the fundamentals of SOC1 reporting, including its necessity and specific components. Collaborate with fellow interns to learn and share your insights with our Core Team; and get the opportunity to promote your visibility within the DRM team!
  • Dive into the practical aspects of SOC1 reporting. Learn about our sampling strategy, testing methods, key documentation practices, and the internal tools we use.
  • Learn how the testing procedures you perform contribute to the final SOC1 report shared with our client.

You will be guided by someone who was intern with us last year as well and onboarded as 'team member'.

Skills & Qualifications

You are a student in business engineering, economic sciences, information management, informatics, (business) IT or an IT/ tech related study or equivalent (major/minor).

 

While academic qualifications are important, there are several other main competences we highly value, including:

  • Enthusiasm about working in a project-based environment
  • A natural ambition and high motivation
  • Fluent in Dutch or French, and English

We offer internships through the second semester of the academic year in our Zaventem HQ or in our office in Antwerp. The duration and the work schedule (full time/part time) can be determined in mutual consultation.
