Roles & Responsibilities

KPMG’s Deals & Strategy practice offers opportunities for ambitious graduates who want to work at the heart of corporate finance and transactions. We aim to provide impactful insights, support strategic decision-making and successfully execute deals.

Within the M&A team, you will contribute to a wide range of activities across the deal lifecycle. Your responsibilities include:

  • Supporting deal origination through market research, target screening and sector analysis
  • Conducting financial analysis and valuation work, including business modelling
  • Preparing pitch decks, marketing materials and client presentations
  • Analysing business models, value chains and market positioning
  • Identifying potential buyers, targets and transaction opportunities
  • Supporting deal execution alongside senior team members
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as tax, legal and strategy
  • Contributing to process management and coordination across deal phases

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong financial and accounting knowledge (corporate finance, valuation, cash flow analysis)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interest in M&A and corporate finance
  • Ability to translate complex analysis into clear presentations
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
  • Proactive mindset and ownership
  • Strong team player
  • Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English
  • Previous internship in M&A, Investment Banking or similar is a plus
