As a (senior) Manager data engineer at KPMG Lighthouse, you will play a crucial role in the development of complex and diverse data products from an end-to-end perspective. You are on the track to become a master in leading Data Engineering solutions for our clients. You combine technical and consultancy skills to build modern data solutions for multiple organizations to become more data driven. You will have the opportunity to extensively develop your technical skills, but your growth path will extend beyond. You will be working in a modern environment and find yourself surrounded by a multi-disciplinary team of over 75 data enthusiasts with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You will be able to work on data platform activities on highly varied client projects across numerous industries which will allow you to develop your skills and knowledge to the full extent.

Skills & Qualifications
- You bring at least 5 years of experience in data engineering, ideally within a professional services firm, internal analytics team, or similar environment.
- You have hands-on experience with technologies such as SQL, Spark, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Microsoft Fabric.
- You’re familiar with cloud-native computing and public cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and/or GCP.
- You're proactive, take ownership, and enjoy working collaboratively to solve complex problems.
- You think beyond your own role and are keen to understand the broader business context.
- You know how to connect with the right people across the organization to drive impact.
- Knowledge of modern data architectures (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Vault 2.0, Data Hub,…) and data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical) is a plus.
- Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code is a strong advantage.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
