Roles & Responsibilities

As a Manager, the role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Performing financial due diligence procedures related to the sale and purchase of companies and businesses, identifying relevant issues and assessing their impact on transactions;
  • Identifying and understanding key business drivers and delivering value to clients through provided services and produced deliverables;
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients and taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of engagements;
  • Contributing to the preparation of deliverables, including reports, presentations, and client discussions;
  • Managing workflows and team activities, providing guidance and sharing insights, as well as coordinating and collaborating with other KPMG teams (e.g. M&A, Tax, and Legal);
  • Providing coaching to colleagues, sharing technical and professional knowledge within the team and department, and drawing on prior experience;
  • Building and expanding a professional network and establishing long-term client relationships by acting as a trusted adviser and leveraging expertise, skills, and experience to support client objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

The following qualifications, expertise, and skills support success in this role:

 

  • A Master's degree combined with a minimum of six years of experience in financial due diligence, corporate analysis, financial audit, and transactions;
  • CFA charter holder status, or active enrollment in the CFA program, is considered an advantage;
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and develop well-reasoned solutions;
  • Excellent project management and business development capabilities;
  • Ability to perform consistently at a high level, including under pressure;
  • Strong observational skills;
  • A hands-on and pragmatic approach to identifying and delivering clients' solutions;
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work while maintaining strong attention to detail;
  • Confidence in navigating AI-related topics, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders, make ethically sound decisions and adapt to evolving technologies;
  • Excellent bilingual verbal and written communication skills (English and Dutch, or English and French).
