About Us
At KPMG, professionals join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common purpose: turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world.
The M&A Advisory team, part of KPMG’s Deals & Strategy practice, advises clients on potential mergers, sales, and acquisitions of companies. The team supports clients throughout all phases of an M&A transaction, from the earliest stages-when the client (Corporate or private shareholder) is considering strategic options-through to the final phase, assisting with the conclusion and signing of an agreement.
What will the role involve?
As a Manager within the M&A Advisory team, the role is responsible for supporting business origination efforts, leading focused execution streams on transactions, and supporting the senior M&A leadership team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting key transaction execution workstreams, including the preparation of high-quality transaction documentation, coordination of due diligence processes, financial modelling, in-depth financial and business plan analysis, and valuation activities, demonstrating strong expertise in process management across the full transaction lifecycle;
- Contributing to the preparation of value-adding pitch materials and supporting strategic discussions with clients; this includes building sector knowledge, mapping M&A markets across various industries, identifying key targets, and gathering relevant market intelligence to strengthen the firm's expertise;
- Demonstrating a strong motivation to learn and actively supporting M&A origination efforts;
- Actively contributing to the development of more junior team members, supporting high quality standards in both transaction origination and execution;
- Progressively becoming a trusted point of contact for C-level client stakeholders by building, maintaining, and strengthening long-term client relationships and developing a deep understanding of broader business needs.
Individual initiative and ambition contribute directly to KPMG's success. Regardless of role or location, impact, leadership, and collaborative success are recognized and valued. #makeyourmark
