Roles & Responsibilities

As a Manager in Technology M&A, you will support clients throughout the full deal cycle, contributing to complex technology and digital transformation topics within leading M&A transactions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and providing advice on Technology and IT aspects during due diligence processes, delivering structured insights within tight timelines.
  • Contributing clear, relevant insights to Technology due diligence reports by explaining technology-related topics in an accessible way and highlighting their impact on business strategy, operations and deal valuation.
  • Advising on technology considerations for integration, separation (carve‑outs) and optimisation initiatives (e.g. synergy analysis), including:
    • Developing target operating models
    • Gaining a thorough understanding of current IT landscapes
    • Defining transitional service agreements
    • Developing detailed roadmaps and supporting implementation
  • Evaluating and designing Digital and IT target operating models, covering processes, people, service delivery models and governance.
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders and acting as a trusted discussion partner at C‑level.
  • Identifying opportunities to further support business development and growth.
  • Supporting the Technology M&A team lead in achieving the team’s growth objectives.

Skills & Qualifications

In addition to a Master's degree in economics, finance, informatics or engineering or similar field, you should possess:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant IT M&A experience in a large international company or (strategy) consulting/ professional services.
  • Ability to translate IT and technology experience in a transaction environment.
  • A natural inclination for innovation, entrepreneurship, and agility in dynamic environments.
  • Excellent change management, communication, and storytelling skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create structured insights in a short timeframe.
  • Flexibility and motivation to work on diverse projects, with fluency in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Extensive experience in the transaction field and a proven ability to operate at deal/board level speed.
  • You confidently navigate AI topics and are able to communicate complex concepts to stakeholders, make ethically sound decisions and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Cobit, ITIL certifications are an asset.
