You will be involved in determining the architecture for large CRM enabled business transformations. As the solution architect you have the responsibility to work together with the customer to determine the most suitable architecture and roadmap towards the future state. Business transformations can take multiple years and include besides an actual CRM implementation also Strategy, Target Operation Model, process optimization, change management. You will have a key role in connecting all the functional domains of D365 CE (such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Field Service, Project Service and Power Platform) towards a concrete solution based on the Microsoft technology stack in general, Dynamics 365 particular and the overall application landscape of the customer.

This takes besides IT knowledge also soft skills such as good communication, leadership, building customer relations, and a strong dedication to quality. Due to the business-critical nature of our projects you will report both to the c-level sponsors of the customers and the KPMG leadership.
Next to your key responsibility to lead the project team, you will also, as a member of enterprise solutions, act as a coach for other team members and further expand the business unit by assisting in business development, developing market offerings, and writing proposals.
- Accountable for the proposed solution (architecture, to-be processes) and the realization of this proposed solution.
- Monitors the daily progress, potential risks and issues together with the project manager, proposes and executes mitigations.
- Leads the Fit/Gap analysis to define the solution design including to-be processes, solution architecture, integration design, migration approach and non-functional (e.g. performance) requirements.
- Convinces the client stakeholders as well as the consultants and/or partners of the proposed solution architecture and takes the lead in client sign-offs.
- Prevents and solves escalations from consultants, partners and clients.
- Ensure that the team follows the predefined project methodology and uses the predefined tools in an optimal way and intervenes when needed.
- Works in close collaboration with the project manager
- Takes initiative to be informed about innovations in technology, market changes, methodologies, best practices, … & develops internal improvements/innovations
- Shares knowledge and coaches consultants towards a higher level
- Continuously improves our project methodology, tooling and templates
