In order to strengthen our Corporate HR Team, we are looking to recruit a Payroll Officer.

  • On a daily basis, you will be responsible for collecting time & attendance data as well as other data required for the monthly payroll cycle, liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure correct data collection;
  • Execute the payroll cycle correctly and in a timely manner;
  • Produce the required payroll reports and statistics for the respective stakeholders;
  • Perform administrative tasks related to social security obligations, accidents at work, insurances etc, in connection with payroll;
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information;
  • Use and maintain the payroll application and guarantee its accuracy by performing regular controls;
  • Take care of the payroll processing of our expat community in consultation with our tax department;
  • Follow up on issues related to personnel files to ensure that the best possible service is offered to stakeholders (Internal employees, Managers & Directors);
  • Coordinate processes and procedures (which may include systems activities) and complete related analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness;
  • Perform reviews of existing processes and/or documentation to ensure appropriate standards and rules are applied. Identify and investigate anomalies, issues, or variances to be addressed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent relevant experience;
  • A first relevant experience within a payroll department gained at a major site or company and/or payroll services provider with diverse and complex payroll structures;
  • In depth knowledge and experience with payroll systems;
  • Ability to analyse and improve HR processes;
  • Good project management skills;
  • Fluent in Dutch, French and English;
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong analytical skills (Critical thinker, strong with figures and analysing data, creative and a problem solver)
  • Discrete, punctual and precise;
  • Team player, self-driven, enthusiastic and takes initiatives;
  • Flexible and able to work autonomously
