Organizations in the public sector are constantly faced with new challenges and often must deal with disruptive changes. In addition, their 'customers' also expect faster, more efficient, and better services.

The KPMG Public Sector team provides a wide range of services to various organizations at the different levels of government in Belgium. Work on socially relevant projects daily, they are making an impact on citizens, civil servants and society. We are looking to strengthen the public sector team with a Project Manager.

As a Project Manager:

  • You are responsible for defining, building and managing a project roadmap.
  • You set up action that make the project correspond to the established goals.
  • You are managing more junior team members to ensure a qualitive roll out.
  • You consult on regular basis with all stakeholders and give presentations if needed.
  • You will help grow the public sector team trough coaching team members and clients by sharing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Knowledge of the sales process (e.g. Write proposals for PS, technical and admin aspects, …).

Skills & Qualifications

Critical skills

• You hold a Master's degree and have at least 4 years of experience in either strategic and/or management consulting with a focus on the public sector.

• Ideally, you have thorough experience in:

  • Strategy definition & development;
    Transformation(s);
  • Business process improvement;
  • Organizational and process architecture design;
  • Experience in organizational change management is a plus.

• You have fluent communication and facilitation skills in French and English, Dutch is a plus.
