Roles & Responsibilities

KPMG Belgium is seeking an experienced Reward Manager to join our Human Resources team. Reporting directly to the HR Director, this strategic role is crucial in developing and administering innovative reward processes tailored to a diverse workforce, including independent contractors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of reward principles, a strong analytical mindset, and an awareness of the latest market trends to ensure regulatory compliance and competitive positioning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage the overall reward strategy and practices for our Belgian organization.
  • Focus on compensation, devising and enforcing equitable, competitive, and innovative solutions (utilizing tools like the Merit approach, CLA90, warrants, etc.) to maintain market-aligned packages.
  • In collaboration with the Benefits Manager, enhance our employee benefits offerings to align with our overall rewards strategy.
  • Develop and maintain the organization's salary structure, ensuring fairness, equal pay, and consistency across job levels or grades.
  • Stay updated on compensation trends by researching and analyzing market data and industry surveys, ensuring our programs remain competitive.
  • Assist in crafting attractive job offers for new hires up to the Director level, considering competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Participate in benchmarking exercises, analyze the results, and report on them with actionable proposals.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge in the field of compensation & benefits and collaborate closely with our internal business experts in this field.
  • Take care of reporting, budget preparation, and effective communication to all employees. Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to design and implement compensation and benefits programs.
  • Expatriate Management: Handle calculations, proposals, and follow-up setups for expatriates, including insurance matters for inbound and outbound assignments.
  • Lead Reward Projects: Spearhead reward projects with a focus on compensation, driving strategic initiatives forward.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Tax, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in compensation and benefits within a complex environment, possessing thorough knowledge of social legislation, compensation & benefits principles, processes, tools, and concepts, and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the reward field.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying ideas clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders at different levels. Possess the necessary impact and persuasive abilities.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills combined with a strategic perspective, capable of making data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to handle both strategic challenges and operational tasks adeptly, thinking pragmatically and aligning with the business.
  • Discreet and results-oriented, capable of working with confidential information daily. Quick thinker who anticipates issues and finds solutions promptly. Strives for the best outcome and doesn’t stop until it’s achieved.
    Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.
  • Thorough understanding of Office applications.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Compensation is an asset.
