Roles & Responsibilities

  • For more strategic engagements, alongside the engagement manager, you will support our Life Sciences clients to help ensure successful problem formulation, understand and set clear objectives, define strategic options, analyze those options and support recommendation of strategic direction.
  • For more operational related projects, you will support or lead the implementation of projects or parts of those, through a variety of functional domains and services, which can vary in complexity and size . Being able to think and work cross-functional and have a basic understanding of the Life Science sector is key.
  • The senior advisor will also create content and deliverables in line with the engagement and client needs, quality of those deliverables through verification and validation of results will be a key aspect.
  • Depending on the nature of the engagement, you will manage highly skilled KPMG staff throughout the project lifecycle as required.
  • As a senior advisor you will participate in the development of proposals for new projects with potential or existing clients.
  • You will have the opportunity to actively drive the growth of the Life Sciences practice and participate in identifying client needs and support the development of innovative solutions across different areas within Life Sciences.

Skills & Qualifications

You have a University education and Master degree, a combined Life Sciences (pharmacy, biology, medicines…) and business degree would be a plus. You have a minimum of 4 years of experience at a consulting firm or in the Life Sciences industry in a corporate strategy, commercial strategy, commercial excellence (market access, brand management…), business development, supply chain or quality related discipline (pharma, medical devices, biotech, healthcare). You are flexible about work location and have a willingness to travel abroad when needed. You have excellent written and verbal skills in Dutch and English, and ideally in French.

For this role, we are looking for people with following technical and interpersonal skills:

  • Strong business acumen, proven analytical and problem solving skills, ability to combine both strategic thinking and implementation
  • Demonstrated project and operations management experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and presentation skills)
  • A team player with the with the ambition to support our growing Life Sciences consulting practice
