Main Responsibilities


You will assist and advise clients (including other KPMG practices) in connection with national and international M&A issues.
You will assume responsibilities in client and non-client matters.
You will maintain relations with clients, officials of the Belgian Authorities and with the business community in general.

Profile

You hold a Master Degree in Law or Economics.
You have more or less 3 years experience in corporate tax, by preference with a focus on M&A tax.
You have strong project management skills.
You have effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.

We offer

KPMG Tax & Legal Advisers is looking for a Senior tax adviser specialized in mergers and acquisitions to join its M&A tax team in the Brussels office.

You will assist and advise clients in the framework of due diligence, acquisition structuring and modeling, SPA's, post-deal integration, internal restructurings such as mergers and demergers, (re)financing of acquisitions, structuring of management participation and carried interest, and all other aspects surrounding a deal which may have a tax impact.

As well as collaborating with clients at every stage of the M&A process, we work in a multidisciplinary M&A team, looking for strategies and structures that are both innovative and technically sound. Building strong relationships is key to our success, both with clients and internally.
