Becoming a (junior) data engineer at KPMG Lighthouse will allow you to take part in complex data platform & analytics projects through their entire lifecycle. You will develop and extend your technical skills in rationalizing, migrating, and building (cloud) modern data platforms for multiple organizations. • You have a bachelor or master’s degree in computer science, (business) engineering or any other relevant topic.
• Minimum of 1 year of data engineering experience preferably with a professional services firm, an internal strategy/analytics group or similar environment.
• General knowledge of cloud native computing, public hyperscalers (Azure is a plus)
• You have basic knowledge in SQL, python, or any other programming language
• You are an enthusiastic, driven, and proactive person, taking ownership and accountability in your work
• You are a team player, and have a can-do mentality
• You are interested in the bigger picture and able to think broader than your own capabilities.
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French and have English professional working proficiency
