Roles & Responsibilities

As a Senior Manager in our CFO Advisory team, you’ll lead a team of high-performing experts, support clients across diverse industries, and shape strategic financial decisions through data-driven insights. You'll work at the intersection of finance, technology, and business — with a focus on Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Analysis.

 

What you will do

Project & client delivery

  • Lead and manage FP&A-focused projects from planning through to implementation, ensuring alignment with client goals and KPMG standards.
  • Partner with client CFOs and finance teams to transform and optimize budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Deliver actionable insights and best practices that enhance financial performance and business value.

Commercial growth

  • Drive business development activities — from identifying client needs to delivering winning proposals and presentations.
  • Play a key role in expanding KPMG’s CFO Advisory footprint in Belgium.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative service offerings in FP&A.

Team leadership & people development

  • Lead by example: coach, mentor, and develop teams to achieve both individual and collective success.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and inclusion.
  • Share your knowledge and grow our internal expertise in finance transformation, with a focus on FP&A excellence.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
  • 7–12 years of experience in financial management consulting, with a strong focus on FP&A.
  • Hands-on expertise in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting/analytics.
  • Deep understanding of core finance processes (plan-to-perform, record-to-report).
  • Familiarity with accounting, costing, management reporting, and financial data structures.
  • Experience with FP&A tools such as CCH Tagetik or Workday Adaptive Planning is a strong plus.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and delivering projects with enterprise-wide impact.
  • High standards for quality, accountability, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: adaptable, client-oriented, collaborative.
  • Professional fluency in English and Dutch and/or French.
