As Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis you’ll lead a team of experts on a range of CFO projects and work closely with clients in various sectors. This includes:

 

Project management:

  • Drive, manage and operationally steer FP&A related assignments in close coordination with the responsible Partner and the operational team members.
  • Manage small to large teams to deliver projects with an enterprise-wide impact.
  • Assist clients with practical recommendations and best practices to improve business and finance processes.

 

Commercial management:

  • Drive, manage and operationally steer business development activities, from lead identification to the presentation of pitches and preparing proposals to potential clients.
  • Support in expanding KPMG CFO Advisory’s growing footprint in the Belgian market.
  • Assist in the development of new and improved CFO Advisory service offerings with specific focus on FP&A.

 

People management:

  • As a performance manager, manage, develop, motivate, train, and coach team members to maximize the achievement of their potential.
  • Coach and lead your operational team(s) by example both on hard and soft skills, in accordance with KPMG’s quality, ethical and people management standards.
  • Build expertise and knowledge of a variety of clients and markets and create awareness of CFO Advisory’s service offerings with specific focus on FP&A.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master’s degree with 7 to 12 years of experience in financial management consulting with a clear focus on FP&A.
  • Operational and / or project experience within planning, budgeting & forecasting and / or reporting & analytics.
  • Deep understanding of core financial processes, in particular plan-to-perform and record-to-report processes.
  • Familiarity with (amongst others) transactional / analytical accounting, costing & cost accounting, management & financial reporting.
  • Good understanding of the link between data, finance and accounting, in particular with regard to downward and upward data streams
  • Previous experience with FP&A software tools such as CCH Tagetik and / or Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience.
  • Attach great importance to delivering high-quality work and respect deadlines.
  • Strong soft skills: stress-resistance, flexibility, client and service-minded, ability to work in teams.
  • Fluency in English, Dutch and/or French.
