Roles & Responsibilities
As a senior project manager you are part of the KPMG organization, thus responsible for leading, planning, and overseeing projects within the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The role requires a minimum of five years of project management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of IT focused projects.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in project management, in similar environments
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a project lifecycle.
- PMP / PRINCE II/ SaFE / SCRUM certification is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA)
- Excellent client and internal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Be pro-active, self-organizing and flexible
- Be committed and result-oriented
- Good verbal and written English communication skills, knowledge of Dutch is an asset
- Good communication, motivational and influencing skills
- Hands-on and able to support the functional analysts assigned to the project
- Ability to run projects in parallel
