Roles & Responsibilities

As our team continues to expand, we are looking for a Supply Chain Senior Consultant /Junior Manager to join our Procurement & Supply Chain team. 

You will be part of a team responsible for assisting customers in their digital and technology-led transformation journey. At KPMG Belgium, these transformations are end-to-end, covering everything from business and technology strategy to actual implementation.

 

Key activities include

  • Support end-to-end supply chain transformations.
  • Bring in-depth experience in implementing IBP/S&OP solutions such as OMP.
  • Analyze documentation received from clients, including planning data, policies, and process flows.
  • Participate in and document client workshops.
  • Conduct workshops and present deliverables to clients.
  • Support the creation of functional and integration designs.
  • Guide customers in defining their IT strategy and target operating model, and support the roll-out of this strategy within their organization.
  • Implement and configure supply chain solutions.
  • Assist clients with data migration activities.
  • Help develop test scenarios and execute integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Create and maintain system documentation.

Type of projects: implementation of IBP planning solutions is a key offering of the team. Projects typically cover all aspects of the implementation lifecycle, including business process design, solution configuration and integration, as well as change management and communication strategies for both internal and external stakeholders.

Skills & Qualifications

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Sciences, Information Management, or a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Informatics (Development/Business Intelligence), or equivalent.
  • You are eager to learn more about supply chain processes; prior knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • You can work independently as well as in project teams, and you take ownership and responsibility.
  • You have a broad interest in IT and business processes.
  • You are willing to expand your technical knowledge by connecting business with technology (e.g., understanding architecture structures, integration methods, etc.).
  • A good knowledge of SQL is considered an asset.
  • You are pragmatic, analytical, solution-oriented, stress-resistant, and eager to learn.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch or French.
