Roles & Responsibilities
About the Role
Within our Managed Services department, we manage end-to-end finance, accounting and tax processes for large and multinational clients. To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a Tax Accounting and Reporting Expert to support clients with their tax accounting, tax reporting and Pillar 2 reporting processes.
In this role, you will:
-Assist clients in preparing tax provisions and disclosures under IFRS, US GAAP or local GAAP,
-Support clients with Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax) data collections and calculations,
-Help design and improve clients’ tax reporting processes and controls.
-You will take responsibility for key workstreams within engagements, coach junior team members, and work closely with colleagues to deliver high‑quality services to clients’ finance and tax teams.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Accounting and Reporting
-Prepare and review clients’ periodical tax provision calculations (current and deferred tax) under IFRS, US GAAP and local GAAP.
-Prepare and review return-to-provision adjustments.
-Perform effective tax rate reconciliations and tax position analyses.
-Support the preparation of tax disclosures for group and statutory financial statements.
-Advise clients on complex tax accounting matters.
Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax)
-Support clients with data collection and data quality assessments required for Pillar Two calculations
-Assist in performing Pillar Two impact assessments and jurisdictional effective tax rate (ETR) calculations
-Contribute to the preparation and review of GloBE income, covered taxes and top‑up tax computations
-Help integrate Pillar Two outcomes into tax accounting
Projects and Process improvement
-Design and implement improvements in clients’ tax reporting processes, internal controls and governance frameworks
-Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient, technology-enabled tax reporting solutions, often integrated within ERP or consolidation tools
-Organize tailored training sessions on accounting for income taxes and the use of tax reporting tools

Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications
-Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in tax accounting, financial reporting, or corporate tax, ideally gained in a multinational or Big4 environment.
-Solid technical knowledge of corporate income tax and tax accounting under IFRS -and/or US GAAP.
-Initial experience or strong interest in BEPS 2.0 / Pillar Two rules and their impact on tax accounting and reporting.
Skills and Competencies
-Strong analytical skills and affinity with numbers and accounting.
-Ability to apply tax and accounting rules in a practical, client‑oriented way.
-Interest in working with new regulations and data‑driven calculations (e.g. Pillar Two modelling).
-Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with ERP systems and/or tax reporting tools is an asset.
-Strong project management and time‑management skills; comfortable handling multiple deadlines.
-Skilled at identifying opportunities to streamline and automate processes.
-Team player with a proactive, hands‑on attitude.
-Fluent in English (working language) and ideally also proficient in Dutch and/or French.
-You work confidently with AI tools and adopt a critical mindset when using AI in day‑to‑day tasks and in collaboration within the team.
