Roles & Responsibilities

We’re a small, but very high impact team. We work behind the scenes to streamline processes and are also at the forefront of change, giving presentations, workshops, and seminars.

 

You’re part of a team that’s multidisciplinary and feels confident navigating through different and new technologies to solve complex client problems. Depending on your capabilities, you’re expected to build upon your tax and technical skillsets and will be onboarded in the use of platforms such as the Microsoft Power platform, Alteryx, Data Analytics solutions (PowerBI) and other solutions. If you are willing, you can also assist in software development.

 

You’ll work together with different departments, depending on the needs and your expertise. Typical TaxTech projects include (but are not limited to):

  • Process improvement workshops

  • Requirements gathering + functional analysis of solutions for specific client problems, e.g. Transfer Pricing projects relating to Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Pillar II

  • Collaboration with European teams to implement Tax Solutions for clients

  • Implementation of Tax Control Frameworks or cafetaria plans

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) VAT health checks

  • Workflow engines for compliance management

  • Customization and development of internal tax return software

Skills & Qualifications

  • You have an interest in Technology, which you can substantiate through prior (hobby) projects, interests or even a GitHub profile.
  • A qualification in Tax is a strong asset, but not required. Nevertheless, you’re able to demonstrate your Tax capabilities and willingness to learn through past degrees, (hobby) projects or experiences
  • You are willing to fully immerse yourself into Tax requirements and like solving complex business cases
  • Understanding of ERP systems is a plus
  • Data doesn’t scare you, development skills are a plus
  • Excellent MS Office (Excel) skills are required
  • You’re highly analytical, and strive for excellence
  • A good knowledge of English is required, other languages are a plus.
