Roles & Responsibilities


As Solution Architect (Technical Implementation Lead/ Integration Lead/ Configuration Expert) you will be part of a team that is responsible to assist customers in their digital and technology-led transformation, supported by the Ivalua Source-to-Pay solution. You will be working for clients around the world in different industries.
For KPMG, these transformations are end-to-end, involving everything from the business/technology strategy up to and including the actual implementation.
 More explicitly, your role will cover a wide range of activities:

  • Leading the technical workstream from the start to end, both from a content perspective (i.e., being responsible of the Source-to-Contract and/or Procure-to-Pay technical design) and managing the project technical team.
  • Translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Conducting workshops and/or presenting deliverables to the client outlining the technical design of the solution (including integrations design).
  • Defining the integration design, migration strategy and approach.
  • Configuring (including knowledge of SQL) and testing the Procurement solution end-to-end. This covers both the system configuration (user interface, workflows, etc.) and the system interfaces (i.e. integrations).
  • Developing system documentation (configuration documentation, migration files, etc.).
  • Continuously investing time to keep up to date with the latest technologies.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Master degree preferably in Business Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Science, Information Management, …  or Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Applied Informatics, Development/Business Intelligence, Software Engineering ...
  • You have the skills to coach/manage a (technical) team of of 2-5 people.
  • You have the ability to work independently, as well as in project teams, take ownership and responsibility.
  • You have a strong customer focus and can have conversations with both technical and non-technical people.
  • You are a problem solver, detailed oriented, and have strong analytical skills.
  • You have minimum 3-4 years of experience, ideally in consulting.
  • You have minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in multiple software implementations, preferably Procurement solutions such as Ivalua, Coupa, Ariba, etc.
  • You have the necessary knowledge in integration configuration (API, EAI, ETL).
  • You have hands-on experience with SQL.
  • You are fluent in English.

 Additionally:

  • You have knowledge of ERP’s such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle is considered an advantage.
  • You have knowledge of the Source-to-Contract, Procure-to-Pay, Supplier Relationship Management is considered an advantage.
